If you need to make updates to an existing Planning RBS linked to a project, More4apps suggests first downloading them onto the sheet. Please consult the Download existing Planning RBS Assignments section for detailed instructions on how to do this.
In order to modify the flags for the Planning RBS attached to a project, you must set 'RBS Assignments Upload Action' to either Update orUpdate records action if changes are necessary, or leave it blank if no data processing is needed. For successful update of the header and/or child sections, fields like 'Project Number' or 'Project Name' and 'RBS Name' need to be filled. For further guidance on how to upload the Update action, kindly refer to the Uploading section.
The following flags can be updated:
● Primary Planning Flag
● Primary Reporting Flag
● Planning Usage Flag
● Reporting Usage Flag
If you want to update a ‘Primary Planning Flag’ from ‘No’ to ‘Yes’, you must set ‘Allow Changing Primary Flag’ to ‘Yes’. This flag indicates if the primary planning resource breakdown structure should be changed even though there are baselined versions using the existing one. See example below.
After populating the required data on the sheet, proceed to Uploading this data to Oracle.
