Before starting the installation ensure all sessions of MS Excel are closed. There are steps below to follow to carry out the installation. Alternatively there is a video to step you through the process here.
1. Download the module zip file that was provided by More4apps.
2. Unzip the module zip file
3. Double click the Executable in the ‘Installer’ folder:
a. In the instance you are presented with the below Windows Defender prompt, Click ‘More Info’.
b. Proceed and Click ‘Run Anyway’.
4. Follow the steps in the Module Setup Wizard.
5. All Excel sessions must be closed before this can proceed. If the install process detects any Excel sessions the user will be prompted to close them.
The setup process will first check the device for the required Add-in(to run Modules) and .NET Framework components.
If the Add-in or .Net Framework aren’t installed, a prerequisites installer wizard will appear. Follow steps 6-10 if the secondary installer appears. Otherwise skip to the module installation (step 13 below).
6. The prerequisites installer will show what components need to be installed with a tick-box. Click ‘Next’ to continue.
Note - If the appropriate .NET framework version is not detected the Installer will prompt the user to update their device and exit the installation process.
7. The Add-in will now be downloaded. Then open a new wizard installer. Click ‘Next’ to continue.
8. The End-User License agreement will appear asking you to accept the Add-in End User License Agreement (EULA).
9. Click ‘Next’ to continue.
10. Select the installation folder location you wish to install the add-in and click ‘Next’
11. The Add-in will now install.
12. Click ‘Finish’ to complete the Excel Add-in installation steps.
13. The Module installer will now ask you to accept its EULA.
14. Click ‘Next’ to continue and complete the Module installation steps.
The device setup is now complete. Next, BI Reports and Roles must be set up.
Navigate to the BI Report Installation section to move to the next step. If these already exist, you may be able to skip this step if advised by More4apps.
Note - Once all BI Reports are installed please ensure the correct roles have been assigned to your users to grant appropriate ERP Cloud privileges to use the Module.
