Update Limitations

Delete Group
Adding Delete Groups at the ‘Item Structures’ and the ‘Components’ level is not available as it is not currently supported by the Oracle Rest web service. This functionality will be added to a later version when Oracle adds the capability to the Rest web service.

Disabling Unit Effective Components
The option of disabling a unit effective component is not available as it is not currently supported by the Oracle Rest web service. This functionality will be added to a later version when Oracle adds the capability to the Rest web service.

Deleted Substitute Components
This Integrator cannot restrict/stop the download of the deleted substitute components, due to the Oracle Rest web service’s limitation to filter downloads. The deleted substitute component has a “Disabled” ACD type value when downloaded. There is validation in place to stop the deleted substitute components being uploaded back into Oracle ERP Cloud. The following illustration displays a deleted substitute component after being downloaded.

 For example:

Item Descriptions
The Structure Integrator cannot download the descriptions of the items in all sections (‘Item Structures’, ‘Components’ and ‘Substitutes’) as it is not currently supported by the Oracle Rest web service used for the download function. To download the item description the Structure should be “Validated” by using the ribbon option. The validation calls Oracle Item Rest web service to download the descriptions. Due to current architecture limitation, the Structure Integrator cannot call two Oracle web services (Structure and Item) in a single download. This functionality will be added to a subsequent version when Oracle either improves the Rest web service being used for the current download or More4apps upgrades the download capability.

Unit Effective Component Start Date Column
The Oracle user interface form does not display a start date for Unit Effective Structure Components, but Oracle automatically generates a start date for Unit Effective Structure Components when they are added to the Structure in the database. The start date gets downloaded to the worksheet when downloading the Unit Effective Structure Components from Oracle. This start date cannot be changed but can be removed from the worksheet while uploading back into Oracle. To update Unit Effective Structure Components the 'Start Date' value must not be altered, or must be blank, otherwise the following error will occur:

ComponentSequenceID does not exist in the List of Values. Dependent column(s) used include: Structure Name, Organization Name, Start Date.
