The User cannot create a new ‘Standard’ job with Explode Materials value of ‘No’. Explode Materials value must be ‘Yes’ for creating a Standard job.
But the explode material value could be set to ‘No’ while updating the same standard job, as long as there is both a start date and end date available on the sheet for the record.
Due to Oracle Interface Table and wip_massload_pub.massLoadJobs() procedure limitation, the loader is not able to clear out the assigned project and task assigned to the WIP Job. Oracle has provided a patch (mentioned in the Patch Requirement section later in this document), but that is not working as expected and it does not remove the assigned project or task.
