Once the DBA installation steps are completed and all the XML template files are imported in the AIW, you are ready to create a new Loader sheet to start using the Loader. Depending on the Template’s functionality, the new Loader sheet may allow you to create, update or delete the data processed by that specific Loader Template: you will also be able to download existing data from the Oracle Applications into the Loader sheet.
1. In order to create a new Template, login to AIW and click on the “Select Template” icon on the Application Interface Wizard’s ribbon.
2. It will open a “Generate template” form. Select the desired Loader Template from the “Template” drop-down list: this shows all the available Templates in the current Oracle environment.
Note: If you cannot see the required Template, please refer to the Importing Loader Templates section and import the Template.
3. Once the Template is selected, click the “Create New” button.
4. This will generate a new blank sheet of the selected Template with all available fields. The name of the Template being used will be displayed in cell A7 of the sheet so that you can ensure you are working on the correct Template.
