You can enter ingredients and ingredient quantities in this section. This data can be entered either in the sheet or using the Formula Ingredients user form. Please note that in order to create an OPM Formula at least one ingredient is required.

Ingredient Action Mode - This field defines the upload type being performed. The options for this field include: No Change, Insert, Update and Delete.
Ingredient Line - The line number for each ingredient is displayed here. This field cannot be modified.
Ingredient Line ID - This field is for display purposes only. The use for this column is to differentiate between records in case there are two Ingredients that appear identical at face value.
Ingredient - Enter the ingredient code for each item required, a minimum of one ingredient is required for a formula.
Ingredient Description - When an Ingredient is entered this will default from the item master. Display only
Ingredient Quantity - This field allows entry for the Quantity of the ingredient that this formula requires. The quantity entered in this field is the default standard quantity used for the recipe. Mandatory.
Ingredient UOM - In this loader this field is displayed only and defaults from the item master.
*Note - Currently the ability to update the UOM is not available. If this is required please contact More4Apps.
Ingredient Scale Type - This is a static list of values and has the following three options:
Fixed - When the ingredient is not scalable.
Proportional - When the ingredient is scalable.
Integer – When the ingredient is scalable by multiples.
Scale Multiple - This field is used to enter the scaling increment for the ingredients selected. When the Scale Type is Integer this field is Mandatory.
Scale Rounding Variance - This field is not available to be populated unless a scale type of Integer is selected.
Rounding Direction - This field is not available to be populated unless a scale type of Integer is selected, in which case it is then mandatory.
Consumption Type - This mandatory field allows the user to select a Consumption Type. The options in the list of values are as follows:
Automatic - When ingredients are consumed automatically when the batch is completed.
Manual - When ingredients are consumed manually.
Incremental - When ingredient consumption is calculated by incremental backflushing.
Automatic by Step - when ingredients are consumed automatically as the step is completed.
Contribute to Yield - This is a ‘Yes’/’No’ list of values. It indicates whether the ingredient contributes to the yield of the formula. Mandatory.
Contribute to Step Qty - This is a ‘Yes’/’No’ list of values. It indicates whether the ingredient contributes to the step quantity of the formula. This field is mandatory.
Phantom Type - This mandatory field is a static list of values with the following options:
Not a Phantom - Specifies the ingredient is not a phantom item.
Automatic - Specifies the ingredient is a phantom item that is exploded automatically.
Manual - Specifies that the ingredient is a phantom item that requires manual explosion.
Buffer - This is a ‘Yes’/’No’ list of values. This will specify ingredients that maintain target quantity while working with a formula.
Scrap Factor - This specified the anticipated amount of ingredient lost in the manufacturing process as a percentage.
Required Qty - This field displays the result of the ingredient quantity, this field if left blank will default based on the ingredient quantity however a user may overwrite this value but it must be greater than the ingredient quantity.
