PA Unassigned Asset Lines loader template gives you the ability to assign assets to unassigned project asset lines. When assigning assets, download the records first using the download functionality. Assign and/or split the assets and then upload records.
When uploading asset assignments only the lines that have a new asset specified will be uploaded. Lines with no new asset will be ignored and may be uploaded later. If desired, any lines that are not required to be uploaded can be removed from the sheet.
Once an upload has occurred it is recommended that fresh data is downloaded onto the sheet as Oracle Generation will change the asset line ID and the asset line ID used previously may now be invalid.
We would suggest that you follow the steps below to update existing records:
- Download your data on the sheet
- Do the appropriate changes on your dataset
- Upload your dataset
