Below are the fields in the Users user form.
Fields marked with a yellow background are mandatory fields. For each record uploading
through the loader mandatory fields are required to fill in the values.
User Name is a free text field and can be entered in any case format. In Oracle EBS forms it will always show in capital letters – this is the same for when you download users into the wizard. If you do not enter a unique username and you click on Upload, it will update the existing user with any data you have in the sheet for that username.
Once the Person field is searched and selected, the Employee Number may be defaulted if only one person with that name exists. In case of multiple persons with the same name, the loader forces users to select the correct Employee Number from the available list.
Any new user can be assigned a password using the Password field. The update to any password is regulated by the profile “More4apps: AIW User Password Update Allowed”. This must be set to ‘Yes’ before you can update a user’s password. This is a free text field.
Email is used for Oracle workflow notifications. If you want notifications to be emailed as well as in your Oracle notification page, enter an email address in here. This is a free text field.
Password Expiration Days is the number of days the user can use the same password then it will need updating.
Password Expiration Accesses is the number of times a user can log into Oracle until they need to update their password.
User GUID number is used to store the GUID defined for a user record's corresponding entry in OID (Oracle Internet Directory). This field can be created and updated against a user and is not mandatory.
